Quallion is a U.S. based company that designs and manufactures state-of-the-art lithium ion cells, and develops new battery chemistries for the military, aerospace, and medical industries. Building on its legacy leadership position in the medical device industry, the company has developed a range of novel enabling technologies that include the world’s smallest implantable secondary battery, long life lithium ion chemistry, and proprietary Zero-Volt™ deep discharge tolerance.

Quallion operates the complete battery manufacturing process, from raw materials to finished batteries, enabling a unique level of configuration control and security of supply.

By combining Quallion with our ABSL space business, EnerSys becomes the largest domestic provider of battery technology to the space industry.
